    2. This course reviews the key genomic technologies and computational approaches that are driving advances in prognostics, diagnostics, and treatment.

      1. This course covers major CNS structures with emphasis on systems being used as models for experimental studies of development and plasticity. Topics include basic patterns of connections in CNS, embryogenesis, PNS anatomy and development, process outgrowth and synaptogenesis, growth factors and cell survival, spinal and hindbrain anatomy, and development of regional specificity with an introduction to comparative anatomy and CNS evolution.

    4. Fundamentals of Molecular Imaging by American College of Radiology

            1. Lectures require Macromedia Flash and JavaScript enabled on your browser.

            2. Molecular Imaging is the new frontier in radiology. The Primer on Molecular Imaging and the lectures available on the ACR Campus introduce molecular imaging and its importance to the practice of radiology.

            3. The ACR established the Commission on Molecular Imaging in the fall of 2001. This initiative recognized the growing importance and long-term potential of molecular imaging methods in the clinical practice of radiology. The commission has the broad charge to undertake activities that promote molecular imaging as part of radiology practice and to promote undertakings that will help ensure that radiologists have the knowledge, information, and skills to successfully incorporate emerging molecular imaging methods in their practices.

            4. The potential for molecular imaging is enormous, largely on the basis of the ability to harvest scientific progress in molecular biology for use in designing novel molecular imaging pharmaceuticals. In fact, if we are now in the age of molecular medicine, molecular imaging will play a significant part in the advancement of radiology for the foreseeable future.
